Wow, this really was a long time coming.

Welcome to my writing home base! I am a freelance writer and editor based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I specialize in writing analytical articles and essays, as well as speculative fiction.

We all have stories about life-changing events, and the most significant for me happened a decade ago. I’ve spent my adult life under the confines of ME/CFS, commonly referred to as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I’ve battled terrible fatigue, brain fog, immense pain, and countless self-imposed stresses.

My life became informed by the chronic illness, but I haven’t let it define me. I’ve traveled the world and lived abroad. I’m a passionate cook. I’ve taken the challenge of living with ME/CFS and owned it. And, now, those experiences and interests manifest in my writing and editing.

This is a fresh start, one I want to share with you.

Because my writing stems from wanting to share knowledge and motivate others. As a top writer on Medium for gaming, I focus on industry standards and practice. I write motivational insights and advice from my experience living with ME/CFS. Food, culture, reading, all combine in my passion for the craft of storytelling.

What type of fiction? I write in speculative fiction, with a tinge of cosmic horror. I view literature as a medium to explore societal issues, so expect writings with relevancy to our modern lives.
